Staff Review

Jonathan Vaughan:
Douleur is a film that manages to tell a very compelling story, the kind not often seen in a Brickfilm, without the use of any dialog. The cinematography is very good overall, at times quite stunning. Combined with sad music and black and white coloring, this makes for a very strong mood that works well to tell the story. The universal themes explored here, as well as the excellent technical aspects, make this a film that can be enjoyed by anyone. Check this out!
