Director's Comments

A small town is going to be attacked by a gang of deserters, what will they do? Watch to find out! I made this after loosing all my footage the Friday before the deadline, Pretty good for a plan B, don't you think?

Staff Reviews

Hoogle:
A very well made western short. It's the classic story of a bunch of baddies coming to town and one man stands in there path. This one is well made and has a surprising fantasy like twist to it at the end and it leaves with hopes of a sequel.

Randy Yard:
Unfortunately, there's plenty of evidence that this film was put together on short notice, with repeated music, fluctuating sound levels, and average-at-best animation being the main culprits. That said, the film itself is surprisingly entertaining; the cinematography is deceptively good, and though the script doesn't exactly break new ground, it nicely follows a tried-and-true path and throws in a clever surprise ending for good measure. It's not a masterpiece by any stretch of the imagination, but viewers looking for a good old-fashioned western tale need look to further.
