It may be a commonly accepted statement now, but it does not take great animation, story, or whatever else you can name to make a enjoyable film; sometimes, all it takes is a some music, a couple props, and a fun little idea, and that is Super Mario: The Lego Dimension. It may not be king, but this film definitely stands out from the crowd; I myself have watched about five times now, and I highly recommend that you check this film out as well.
