Following the events of episode 2 and 3, Black Widow has been sent to the Middle East to recruit Iron Man, who was there to unveil his new military transportation vehicle: the Rumbler. When an unexpected terrorist attack occurs, Thor comes to the rescue of his friends, and, alongside Iron Man, goes after those responsible: Loki and the Mandarin. Also, the ending of this episodes reveals who the mole infiltrated deep into SHIELD is.
