Staff Review

Randy Yard:
Due to the inherent limitations of the plastic minifig, it's fair to say that the horror genre is easily one of the most difficult to create in brickfilms. Directors wishing to accomplish the feat are left with two options: either achieve the level of technical near-perfection necessary to convey the proper emotions, or adopt a more lighthearted, tongue-in-cheek tone. This minute-long short is a fine example of the latter, as this tale of a visit from the same troll/shemale/I-don't-know-but-get-it-away-from-me found in several of this director's earlier films manages to be scary without actually being scary at all. If that doesn't make sense (and it doesn't), just give this one a view; you'll understand, and you'll be glad you did.
