Topic: Help starting to animate on my Mac

I just got a MacBook. I have been animating on my computer running windows XP for four years. I just recently have started making brickfilms. I have been using a Logitech Quickcam Pro 4000. For animating I have you used a free logitech program called ImageStudio. For Editing I have used Photoshop and Windows Movie Maker. I have mad the minifigures mouth's move like forrestfire101. You can see in my videos here at http://www.youtube.com/cwazymuffins I want to start brickfilming on my MacBook because my pc has little room on the hard drive and is pretty old. I want to brickfilms so I can have their mouths move like in my old movies. I want to know if I can use audio in iStopmotion, and if I get iStopmotion should I get the HD logitech webcam that works with Macs because my MacBook doesn't have a firewire port. And should I use iMovie or buy Final Cut Express for 200 dollars. Please help me.
Thank you.:)

Re: Help starting to animate on my Mac

That was a bit extremely incoherent, but I'll try to address some of what was said.

1. iStopMotion doesn't support HD, from what I understand.
2. Invoking forrestfire's name around here is not advisable.
3. The link to your channel is broken because you put the period inside the [url] tags. You might want to fix that.
4. Facial animation is a tough chore. I wouldn't suggest attempting it until you first get better at other aspects of brickfilming.
5. Just use iMovie for right now. If you're still making films a year from now, then consider investing in FCE.

Re: Help starting to animate on my Mac

If iStopMotion does not support HD, what program would you recommend that supports HD, and is not to expensive. Also do you know if the Logitech Quickcam 9000 is good if I continued to animate on a PC?
