Topic: Frame Rate?

I use Boinx iStopmotion 2.0 and I was wondering if there was some way to alternate the frame rate for a certain scene in the middle of the movie.

Re: Frame Rate?

Re: Frame Rate?

Well, generally films are shot and shown at one set framerate; I'm not sure why you would want to change it. One thing you could do is shoot on doubles: this means that you shoot at a high framerate but show every frame twice. For example, if you shoot at 30FPS on doubles, the effective framerate would be 15FPS. Then if you need to show some very precise movements you can switch to singles in the same film making your framerate 30FPS.

I don't know whether Boinx iStopmotion 2.0 has the ability to shoot on doubles, though.

Re: Frame Rate?

I don't think it can shoot on doubles, but I could just take 2 pictures instead of 1.
