Topic: Foot-Dynamite!

Well, here is my latest film, Foot Dynamite!. This took me half of the Super Bowl to make, and was inspired by the Super Bowl. It was made with MonkeyJam(which suits the movie), Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000, and Windows Movie Maker.
Hope you like it, and have a happy Super Bowl! mini/mrgreen

Re: Foot-Dynamite!

Plenty 'o light flicker unfortunately. The animation was decent, but the voices weren't very good because it makes the (my) speakers shrill at higher pitches.

Re: Foot-Dynamite!

I know, the sound is kinda scratchy because of windows movie maker... mini/rolleyes
I hope to get a better sound system soon.
Thanks!

Re: Foot-Dynamite!

It's alright. There was tons of light flicker, (do you use a lamp?) The sound like mcoov said was really bad, and the animation wasn't really up to par. Personally, i dont think its WMM that makes your noise bad, i think you need a better mic...

Persist.

Re: Foot-Dynamite!

My dad showed me how to stop making it scratchy last night...
My next film will probably not have scratchy sound.
Thank you for the... Criticism...

Re: Foot-Dynamite!

That had some crappy sound quality. Sorry for sounding so harsh, but the sound quality wasn't good at all. The animation was decen't though.

Overall, a funny little film that could have been better without the lightflickers and with a better mic.

My old YouTube is since long ago defunct - now even removed.
Here is my new one.

Re: Foot-Dynamite!

Yeah... I do use a lamp, but I have a problem with my hand being over the set, and taking a pic, and then relizing that will make it have light flicker, then I forget and do it again, etc.
Thanks though...

Re: Foot-Dynamite!

Just use a remote capture and place the "remote" away from the set.

Re: Foot-Dynamite!

Too much light flicker.

RETIRED

Re: Foot-Dynamite!

The animation was fast and the sound hurt my ears. This film also felt like that the animation was done first, and you recorded the sound after finishing the film. That mad the film feel rushed because you were trying to speak fast so you could catch up with the animation. The animation was also choppy at many parts.

Re: Foot-Dynamite!

Wait... Your supposed to animate AFTER you do the sound??? Uh-oh...
Thanks for telling me that!
