Topic: BiM 2011: TOY RESULTS!

Thank you to everyone who entered! After some weeks of watching and judging the films, the judging panel (MindGame, legogod, and myself) have completed results.  Congratulations to the winners, this was a challenging contest to judge!

The three (3) contest winners will select from three prize packages.  First place will receive first choice, second place will receive second choice, and third place will receive the remaining prize package.

  • The LEGO Castle 2010 Advent set, provided by Cincinnati Bricks.

  • A Brickarms Prize Package which includes:
    - 3 Blade Packs
    - 3 Chrome Blade Packs
    - 10 Claymores in Gunmetal

gah, I knew the story of Possessed would bring it down. Oh well, the high presentation marks MAKE ME SMILE.

Congrats to EVERYONE, and thanks to Smeagol and the judges and all that stuff. I would have liked to seen a bit more competition though, as the overall quality of entries seemed a bit weak. mini/sad

Aside from that, great entries, congratulations to the winners, especially Timothy_R, your film definitely deserved a Top 3 spot, it was great. And great job Filmfire, your entry was amazing and you definitely deserved to win.

Good job to everybody that entered! I think Possessed should have gotten a little higher but I can see why it was placed where it was. It was a great contest!

I figured you would get a super-high presentation score, high enough to get you in the top 3. Oh well, nonetheless you released an excellent finished product. mini/smile

This was a really fun theme; I enjoyed watching the creative interpretations of it.  Super job everyone, and congratulations to the winners!  I could tell that you put a lot of thought, time, and effort into your films, and I'm glad you got recognition for it. mini/bigsmile

I hope nobody is too hurt by the low scores on the low end of the judging.  Part of the reason they get so low is that we have to be able to delineate between entries, so we try to keep the lowest-ranked entries toward the bottom of the rating scale.
