A movie can be geared toward children and have sophisticated humor.
It's interesting that these days, Looney Tunes and various other golden age cartoons are associated with "children's" entertainment! They were written for adults and at an adult level, and many scripts in the 1940s expressly written for soldiers. Yet children, including myself as a child, love them even if much of the humor is above them.
"You forget something?" a character who kicked Daffy Duck from his home asks on his prompt return.
"I'll say. I forgot: the government doesn't want us to do any unnecessary traveling these days! WOO HOO! WOO HOO! WOO HOOHOOHOO!"

So at first I was skeptical about going, but 9/10 on IMDb? I'm happy that it did not miss the mark with this one. It was so highly anticipated. Definitely need to see this, guys!

Wow; the more great reviews I read, the more intrigued I am to see this.
I'll be going to see this on Sunday with a few friends. I'm pretty excited! 
I saw it today, it was amazing!
I was going to go, but all the seats were sold for today 
. Oh well, maybe next week!
Avoid reviews and go in with no expectations. That's my plan...in a few weeks when the creep factor of a single adult in a theater full of kids dies down.
Everything is AWESOME! about The LEGO Movie!
Seriously, this was a great film, I enjoyed every frame of it. I especially liked the stop motion credits at the end, really gave it a brickfilm feel.
Don't read reviews, go and see it. It was everything... and more.

Can't wait till see it! If you are in the UK(presumably NI)it maybe today or tomorrow, where UTV are broadcasting full Lego movie inspired adverts, seems very interesting.
