Hey Im just wondering why I seem to be getting less and less views on my videos I think Im getting better but my views just keep on going down. Why is this? Is it becas my resent stuff isn't contest entries? Or because my older stuff was confusing? My new stuff is getting better ratings so why less views?
Any ideas or thoughts

I can only nod along to this too.
The best way to get views is to make really good videos.
I took a brief look and most of your stuff seems really short. I'd suggest making something bigger, something longer, more polished, perhaps with lots of jokes and adventure.
Or course, long projects do take more time, but my work/view ratio is usually way better for longer films. You may go months without releasing anything, but once it's done it'll be worth it.
Don't do it for views, do it because you like it.
If you continue to do what you like eventually views will come.
I noticed that your videos are rather similar; short with "random" stuff happening.
Try something new.
If you have to worry about views,
Try one of the following:
-Engaging your views with contests
-Have them follow you on facebook/twitter/instagram
-Or check in with them in a daily vlog series or something.
Idk, the choice is yours.
Ok thanks a ton guys. I am working on a bigger project right now. I think there was a bit of a misunderstanding here I do brick film because I really really love it. But lately my films have ben getting less and less views and although I love brick filming I also spend a lot of time doing it And its a bit discouraging to get less and less views.

Keep it up, and just enjoy what you are doing, it will be much more rewarding in the end when you do finally get more views and followers and nice feedback etc.

Here's another crazy idea.
How about writing press releases and submitting them to Free PR sites? The idea is if you have a lot of reputable sites carrying your video urls, they are more likely to appear higher in search results as well as getting a more targeted audience.
This worked very well for blogs. Just wondering has anybody tried this for videos?
I'm terrible at getting the word out. What are some of these free PR sites?
Osomstudios: I'm not a good film-maker, but I am a decent film-viewer. I'll just throw a few ideas out there:
First, your technical ability is quite good. Your animation is clean and you seem to have all the basics mastered (unlike me...)
I might suggest, like Squid, that you work on more story-driven films. Random animations are fine, but you have the skills to move beyond those.
Also, you might try getting other people to voice your films. I noticed that your films are voiced almost entirely by you. Getting skilled voice actors to talk in your films will give your characters... um... character... (Wow, that was bad.)
So, yeah. Don't give up! Have fun with it! Dry clean only!

The art of Lego can be used to make something of potential real beauty and sentiment. There are people on the forum who will write for you if you're area of expertise is animation.
Stories don't have to be in-depth and full of symbolism, either. I love "It Happened On Brick Avenue", which technically was well-done and with large sets, but it just told a simple story story of a guy wanting to win over someone's love. Robota, one of the iconic brickfilms, again was brilliant and told a cool story. It even makes you laugh before it's over. I'd love to see a Brickfilmer do a Lego musical, complete with original music specifically for the film. Does anyone know if there's anything like this aorund?
A good start would be a link to your YouTube channel in your signature. That way if you're active on BiM, we can link to all your good work. Also, venture onto other social media. That way you could talk about the behind the scenes of your films, and keep fans busy while they wait for your next pieces of work.
Don't give up though. With quality comes views eventually. Quantity helps, but not if isn't quality.
The views went down (recently, from January) for pretty much everyone, don't worry and keep getting better

Sorry, I was visited by a future version of me from an alien alternate reality who was exposed to high-levels of radiation. I got abducted but I managed to free myself only recently.
Let me know if the link helps, otherwise I'll try looking for something that has more press releases for animation shorts.
