Nice idea, i just can't let it go!
Someone had to.
I'll try to make something, hopefully.

I said 10000th reply, not 10000th post.
Aw man, that is a really cool challange! I'm getting all excited, I should chill out. I'll try to make an nice entry. I'm just super busy with school.
So who won? I still couldn't figure out who was doing the challenge.
Technically I did, but only because nobody else entered.
A Fantastically Frozen Freeze-Ray Frenzy
Yeah, I know, I snow rushed that. Still, it was fun, and I hope ya'll enjoy it.
Don't try to figure out the very ice-olated and frozen-over story, there's really not one. It was just a chance to insert a few more puns. I don't expect you to get chills from the deep drama or stellar voice acting anyway.
Hope that last one counts, it isn't really a ray, but it's still pretty cool.
I just hope this challenge doesn't meet a cold reception and leave me the only entry.
Stop. Stop the puns. Stop them. They're too cool.
Nice, smooth animation and everything. I was planning on doing just about exactly the same with those trans-blue gold chunk bricks (or whatevertheheck they are) though.
And i still need to build like three walls for my set and i don't have enough pieces and i need to go today so i can't animate
Also, a bit of a question: i'll make the ray itself brick-built, but for example, the main character is going to shoot ice at a villain to freeze him. Would it be allowed if i'd use colour correction on the villain to make him look frozen? Or do i need to make that brick-built too? I don't think i have the pieces for doing that brick built, so...

As long as the actual beam/ray itself is brick-built, the end result of the frozen person can be colour correction. but you need to have the beam animated physically.
I don't mind. It might be better to now pick another challenge, see if that fires more people up. I shall go ahead and make a new challenge.
The new challenge is Brick-built freeze ray
Deadline is Wednesday June 11th. Two weeks is enough, right?I think this would be quite an interesting challenge, but I have a bunch of backups if this isn't taken well. By brick-built freeze ray, I mean the actual ice beam and the movement of it made from bricks, as opposed to being VFX.
This.

. This is really cool
No really its a freeze ray of an entry.
I've got an entry just about ready, I should have it done in time.
