I would personally like to play around with HDR someday, but at the moment I can't afford any good software for it. 
You're a student of some sort, right? http://www.hdrsoft.com/order/academic.html PhotomatixPro for $40. It's a great program, I use it.

Thanks Walter! That black speck can be two things: One, it was the land turtle living under the porch. Or two, it was my parent's bag containing parts for their beach canopy

Right, as some of you may know, I went to Chernobyl and Pripyat in Ukraine last week, silly time to go but we did it anyway.
Anyways I took a good 2.5k photos, but here is a selection of about 400, enjoy.

Man, what I would give for the opportunity to shoot there.
It looks really nice.
I like them but the noise on the first one is slightly distracting in the darker areas. That being said I really do like the effect that you created with the stuff (what is that, sugar?) and the lighting. Well done.
its actually Flour, yet, its a little yellow, so, bi carb soda works better, its snow white!!!!!!!!
sugar might work well too....
yeah, the video with them in will be clearer...
That looks really awesome! I thibk the flour works fine, and using sugar would probably be more expensive.
you guys just think to set the WB to make the flour white aye? then it'll look a little cold too?....
I feel like sugar would have the wrong texture, however baking soda is pure white and super cheap, however your photos look great, I don't think anyone would question the color at all.
I feel like one of my weaker photographic skills is taking photos of people, the other week I went to a wedding and snapped off about 250 pictures and ended up with around 24 that were alright, and two that I really like, I don't have any good, or fast, auto-focus lenses so I shot it all on manual lenses.
This is a shot of my grandpa, which I think turned out good.
And this is a shot of my grandpa's brother
It would be nice to get some fast auto-focus lenses so I could spend more time worrying about composition then nailing the focus, but that's not really on my priorities.

Here is something I did this evening just because I am really sick and really really bored.
What dreams are made of.
Lens flare.
Floating teddies.
Flowers.
I don't know, I feel kinda trippy now.
So I got some extension tubes so I can do some macro with my 50mm lens. This is at f2.2, with the 36mm tube. Focal plane is thinner than a strand of hair.
Kieran, I would probity shoot that at f11, f8 would be the bare minimum.
Yea, the aperture will have to be lowered big time. The only bad thing about extension tubes is that the focal length is so small, that it's hard to film with. This is a shot I took with my extension tubes:

For this shot, I had to crank the aperture WAY down. I'm pretty sure it was all the way down).
@Jayem Very nice photos! I like the one with the Wolverine especially. The color of the background on the Exo-Suit is kind of strange, I guess because it's so dark. It's sort of in the middle, though, it's not completely dark, yet it's not completely lit either.
