Leprechauns are Horrible People
Sorry about the bad image quality. I think that happened because I increased the brightness using Virtualdub.
Enjoy! mini/bigsmile

Ehmm . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

I didn't like the unfocused minifig, does your camera have manual focus?

And for the animation, it was OK, yet was choppy in some parts, Keep trying, never stop. mini/wink

Re: The St. Patricks Day Massacre

No, that's the thing that sucks about it.
I started animating in December '08 so I guess I'm a "Beginner". mini/rolleyes That's why I don't have good animation.

Re: The St. Patricks Day Massacre

The animation wasn't terrible (though you need to decrease the movements you make each frame), but you really need to have the subject of the shot in focus so that we can see what's going on. You've done the same thing in your avatar.

Re: The St. Patricks Day Massacre

I'll research my camera and see if there's any focus thingy on it.

Re: The St. Patricks Day Massacre

Well, first of all. The minifigure was blurry, which was a problem. I wouldn't really worry about the animation too much yet, it was OK. If you can improve your image quality, lighting, and sound quality, then you can start thinking about better animation. It was able to keep me entertained though.

Re: The St. Patricks Day Massacre

I don't have any focus thingy...I think it was an offtopic...and your animation isn't bad at all...

Re: The St. Patricks Day Massacre

If you began brickfilming in December I would say that this is pretty good mini/smile

Keep it up, but as LampLightStudios said; focus on the minifig.

Re: The St. Patricks Day Massacre

If you look at Director0012 first film from December (The Moving LEGO) you can see he has made a TON of progress!  Others have pointed out where you can improve Director0012, but I think you should be really proud of how far you've come, keep at it and and I'm sure we'll have some fun film films in the future mini/smile

Re: The St. Patricks Day Massacre

Hmmm, the animation was pretty average, and the unfocused subject REALLY took away from the entire film. This is just my opinion but next time maybe use a different background for the sky rather than a blue base plate, I just don't think it really looks very realistic, again that's just my opinion mini/wink

Re: The St. Patricks Day Massacre

The animation lacked movement in certain segments, and the minifigs were out of focus. The quality was kind of blegh as well. But the animation for the most part was pretty well done.
