Topic: Upcoming BiM Contest
We're in the early stages of planning a major contest on Bricks in Motion, filling the same niche as the BiM summer contests that ran annually from 2009 to 2012 (STAR, TOY, Avant-Garde, Kitchen Sink), but with some new ideas thrown into the mix.
We hope to get some exciting prizes together that haven't been seen here before, and have a theme everybody can understand and enjoy. We're retooling some of our process for this contest in order to make sure it is the best it can be.
As part of that, I wanted to ask when you would prefer that the contest take place? Take into account your school calendars and any other considerations that affect you having time to make an entry. I plan to ask a professional film critic and writer to help judge this contest, so it is in all of our interests that the films in this contest be top notch. The contest will have a theme, so you won't be able to start making an entry until the start date. The end date is when entries are due, after which the judging process will begin.
The contest will run for 3 months, so I've given approximate start and end dates in the voting options. The days may shift slightly to accommodate particular days of the week that are more convenient for contest operations.

edit: a question came up in chat that I wanted to address. If you are pretty sure you won't enter regardless, it's probably better not to vote, so we can get a more accurate indication of people who do want to enter.
