Topic: Brick Block's Darkness and Light Entry

Hi Bricks in Motion, I am entering the Darkness and Light contest.  I know I am just as shocked as you. The story follows King Poppy Seed as he and his men must hunt down the Dark Wizard, who has threatened to destroy the sun and cover all the land in darkness.  Will the light prevail over the darkness?  I am very excited for this contest as it is my very first to do on the site. With almost two months now I think I will be able to make something great.  I will try to make something more ambitious than my last few films and am just now starting to begin filming.  I will try to update this topic regularly to give you guys updates as to where I am in the brick filming process.  Hopefully I will get some useful feedback on this film and learn some new things as well.  Hope to be updating soon....

You know, a big point of emphasis for this contest is encouraging people to try more creative, dramatic lighting in their films.

I bet you can do better than pointing two lamps at the front of the set so everything's flat and evenly lit.
