Just pay for Adobe CC, its worth it.
I've been considering that for a while, though I was wondering: Should one go for the full CC package, or would it be fine-ish to just get premiere? I need to grab me a job so I can pay more, so I'm wondering if it'd be worth it to just get premiere for now.
It's looking like I'll be picking up Sony Vegas Pro Edit at the student price while I'm still in college; it's only $150, and is only lacking features from the full version that I know I'll never use. I'm going to be living on grad student wages or less for the next 6 years of my life, and I don't work on animation frequently enough to justify the cost of Adobe CC. Even if I could justify it, I'm not sure I could afford it. I just edited a short on the trial of Vegas Pro, and I have to say I'm very pleased with how it performed, you should at least look into it.

I do. I just framed my Mythical Show poster.

Good Mythical Morning is my favorite non-brickfilming YouTube channel.

Yes, I love their music.
Binding Brick, you may want to look at Nuke by The Foundry. They have a non-commercial version so you can try it out and see if you want to purchase it. NukeStudio has the editor built into it.
If there is a trial of Adobe, I recommend that you try before you buy. The learning curve is very very high (this is not to intimidate you from using it). Also, the program may be overqualified for what you want to do. I like Sony Vegas, which is a nice middle ground in price and function. Try them both; then choose the one you like best!
The problem with Sony Vegas is that it doesn't run on Mac OS X.

Yes, if you're on a mac, none of the Sony multimedia programs have a platform.

Depends what you are doing really, if you're going to use multiple programs, more than 2 or 3, then get the full package, if you're just going to use premiere, just buy a monthly license for just premiere.
Late to the discussion, but I can't believe that James Horner was killed. The Rocketeer soundtrack was one of the most beautiful in film history. (Still looking for a working sheet music download link for it...)

Hands down yes. It's one of the best investments I've made for my filmmaking.
Do you have to have a LEGO.com account to use the shop?

No, I'm pretty sure you can check out as a guest.
Okay, Thank you
Did anyone else see Inside Out?
It was one of the best films of the year, along with Mad Max: Fury Road
