Topic: Find a Brickfilm Thread

Brickfilms are posted on YouTube, Flickr, personal websites and more. With the insane amounts of Brickfilms out there, it can be easy to forget the name of a film. Without readily available wiki pages with synopses included, we must turn to our community to help seek out lost Brickfilms. Just post what you remember and others can help you find it.

I'll start. I remember a brickfilm beginning with a long dolly shot from the top of a skyscraper to the bottom. A man then entered a strip club's bathroom and brutally interrogated another man by beating his head into the mirrors, sinks, etc. Ring any bells?

That said, I don't recognize the brickfilm you mention. Do you remember what year it was released?

Haha yeah, I hope the one I'm looking for is on there (combing through pages now). I'd wager it was released before 2010, as I believe that's around the time I saw it. It was so long ago it feels almost like a dream.

Even with a wiki, I think this could be a very useful thread to have. Not everything has a page and if you don't remember the name of a film, you would have a hard time trying to find it if it does have a page. I can't say I know the name of the film you are looking for, but it does sound familiar to me. I first thought it could be by Keshen or Yanzl, but didn't find a match. I wonder do you remember anything else at all? Could it possibly be a recreation of a film scene? The description mainly makes me think of the opening scene Casino Royale.

Anything is possible. I haven't seen Casino Royale but I just looked up the LEGO opening and unfortunately that wasn't it. The film I saw began with that long dolly shot from the top to the bottom of a skyscraper, which I believe was primarily CG because it went on for so long. It was set at night, (maybe raining?) and the club itself was lit a deep purple or red. The bathroom was more brightly lit, probably white. I'm also almost sure that this was on YouTube, as I'm sure I found it through the suggestions sidebar. I looked through the wiki and couldn't find it, but I suppose when we do I'll be happy to put up a page for it.

Unrenewable has a pan down a tall CG building at night in the rain and a club in red light, but the rest doesn't fit. Not very likely, but it might be worth a look just in case you could be combining memories of multiple brickfilms without realising.

I'm familiar with Unrenewable and unfortunately that's not the film. The search continues! mini/shifty
