Not sure if it's always been this way, but isn't 20 kilobytes kinda a low file size for an avatar?

I find that this site is excellent for compressing jpgs without losing quality:
I haven't ever had a problem with the image size when using the JPG optimizer.
(It would be awesome if the next version of BiM could tap into it's API and auto optimize the images )
