Re: The Animation Challenge

Those both seem pretty good. I like rioforce's suggestion of animation techniques, so I favor with the exaggeration.

Re: The Animation Challenge

Camera Movements, maybe? It'd be pretty cool to see what the turnout would be, considering it would improve one's skill as well.

Re: The Animation Challenge

Alright the new theme is disco dancing! Make a minifigure dance with different types of moves, and add music if you like.

The deadline is by the end of this Tuesday

That's what I'm saying. Just make the deadline the day and don't accept entries on wednesday. xD
(It's easier.)

Re: The Animation Challenge

How bout we just say that you won and you can pic a new theme.  Nice entry by the way.

I think we should do exaggerated reaction, like scared.

Re: The Animation Challenge

I've always thought a time-lapse would be a cool animation challenge. What do you guys think?

I do not brickfilm anymore, but you can see my live action stuff here.

Re: The Animation Challenge

Not sure of the possibilities of a time-lapse. Unless like building something?
What about a suspenseful camera movement? A camera movement that helps add the character of the shot being scary or suspenseful, any takers?

Re: The Animation Challenge

I love the camera movment idea!

Re: The Animation Challenge

I've decided. Challenge: Suspenseful Camera Movement.
"What does this mean Ev?" Well, it means animate a shot/scene that's supposed to be suspenseful, but use camera movement to help sell the idea of it being suspenseful.

Deadline: December 20th, 2015.
You ought to have enough time to do this, even with Christmas and winter business. Also invite your fellow animators to this challenge to get the thread a bit more alive and up the competitiveness of the challenge.

Re: The Animation Challenge

So what's going on here? Extend the deadline? Choose a new theme?

Re: The Animation Challenge

It seems kind of like it's dying the participation has dwindled over the last few weeks and now no one entered.

I do not brickfilm anymore, but you can see my live action stuff here.

Re: The Animation Challenge

Yeah, this happens every so often. Either pick a new theme, or enter, or don't, it's up to you. xD Eventually the thread will be back. mini/smile

Knees. Squats, standing up from a sitting position, or kneeling.

my dad doesn't want me to brickfilm on because it's his computer, but he's not home right now at the moment.

Re: The Animation Challenge

Packing a suitcase, First-person camera view, cooking, folding a blanket, conducting/leading music, clapping.
Want any more, is does one of those sound good?
