Re: What was the last LEGO set you got?
I got this set off of Ebay for only $75, and it was worth every penny- One of the best sets I own.

That's always looked like such a cool set. I remember how much I wanted it when it came out; I was a sucker for the Orient Expedition at the time. I wonder how much the Yeti and Tigurah are on ebay....
EDIT: Haven't actually got any of it yet, but I just placed a small Bricklink order. The variety of pieces was so weird that I simply have to share it.

I picked up this little set at a second hand store yesterday.
Ended up picking up two of the Force Awakens Lego sets, and I must say; These are some of the best Lego Star Wars sets ever released!!!
Like many (insane) people across the globe, I was up at midnight Friday morning looking for new SW 7:TFA Lego sets. I was mainly going for Kylo Ren's Command Shuttle (more on that below) but I also wanted this little set. I love it and highly recommend it to any one who may be on the fence about buying it or not
But unfortunately the store I went to at midnight did not have what I really wanted. So after about four days of constantly checking my store for this thing, I finally found it in a store out of town. This set is my favorite out of the whole line mostly because of it's originality. The Kylo Ren minifig was also a huge draw for me to this set as well. Super detailed and super sturdy. If your looking for something different to add to your Star Wars collection, this is the set your looking for.
Lego know more about the new Star Wars movie than any of us do Brilliant sets, wish I had the moolah
You're lucky. I really want some of those new sets but like William have no money
I love the popsicle speeder
I bought a few series 4 & 5 Mixels.
I found this at a yard sale, still in the box for $5, even though I don't really buy super hero sets $5 is pretty hard to turn down
The Lego Friends Advent Calender:
And the Pop Star Stage... can't wait to assemble it!
Includes LIVI!!!!!!!!!!
Sloth, for $5 that's a great bargain! I managed to get it for £15 just a couple of months after it came out, mainly for the minifigures, though those ice pieces are super cool (pun intended). I only took the Batboat/Glider/thing apart a few months ago..
Not really a set, but I managed to get a rather good lot of 90's minifigs from craigslist a few days ago. The lot included classic pirates, dragon knights, Time Cruisers, Spyrius, Unitron, Aquanauts, Ice Planet, Insectoids, Exploriens, and cowboys, as well as a few dragons, sharks, horses, etc. Finally finished disassembling, cleaning, and sorting them last night. Needless to say, expect to see these guys in action in my future brickfilms!
Nice find, Brickcrazy! 90s minifigs are the best.
Me so jelly, particularly of the King Kahuka helmet. I can't to see what you do with these!
Wow, that is a fantastic find, I'm definitely jealous.
Was able to get this set at a nice discount ($104) on Amazon a few weeks ago. I've got to say, this is one of my favorite Lego Star Wars sets I own. Weather you look at the play features, figures, or just the ship itself, this is a great set all around. I would highly suggest picking this up while and if you can before the holiday craze begins.
I've, too bought myself the same set Galactic!
I'll look around to see if I can get a second one for parts, especially with all these Christmas deals already popping up.
Finally got my hands on the Doctor Who set, and I couldn't be happier with it. What an absolute triumph of a set. The minifigures are on-point (even if the Daleks are a little large), the exterior Tardis looks stunning, and the console is so detailed. Can't wait to use this in a brickfilm (honestly, with how big a fan of Who I am, I don't know what's kept me from doing a Who brickfilm since one of my early attempts in 2007).
I've also bought an additional Weeping Angel. Hoping to slowly accumulate four in total, just like in Blink. I'm also very excited for the Cyberman minifigure coming with the next wave of Dimensions sets in January.
