We are pleased to announce the first ever BrickCan Film Fest! An unique opportunity to showcase your Brickfilms on a large screen in front of a live audience. BrickCan will be taking place from April 21 – 24 at the River Rock Casino in Richmond BC.
   
             As part of the convention, we have been asked to coordinate a film festival of sorts with a special emphasis on Canadian Brickfilmers(However, we will be accepting international entries). The films will be screened to an audience of 200+ attendees on Friday the 22nd . During the public days of April 23-24, the films will be played repeatedly on two large screens in the exhibition hall.

We are looking for Brickfilms completed during 2015 and 2016 of no more than 10 minutes in length. There will be a vote (and prizes) for the three best Brickfilms, the three prize categories being:
Best Story
Best Animation
Best Set Design

Edit: Just to clarify, only one submission per Brickfilmer can be entered for the Film-fest portion. However, we are open to screening up to three films from the same participant during the public days.
