Well, I don't get much ideas from anywhere, really. But, as all the others, brickfilms, films, comics, web and my bed.
Before I get to sleep, I beg to dream about ideas, lol.
Anything. Quite literrally. Anything could inspire me. I have probably hundreds of thousands of ideas a year... Only about ten I end up using.
P.S. TO THE NUIMOBILE!!
other films, brickfilms, music, brainstorming
Usually when watching a good movie with a good storyline and atmosphere *cough*Aliens*cough*, reading books or playing games usually helps.
Ideas come to me either by random or by actual occurring events then I watch movies to help me find out how to tell a story and it goes from there.
All The Comments That Are Good On Video You Already Made
Some sort of chemical reaction inside my head? I dunno.
I just think of a particular shot, then I think of a script to go with it. Usually I end up cutting out the shot I thought of initially or wishing I had because it came out so bad.
My ideas are about post-apocalyptic humanity and it's struggles to survive. And no, not zombie apocalypse. My ideas are perfectly original or are based off movies such as 28 days later and life after people. The ideas always somehow go into the Sabotage timeline. This timeline is from 2 million years ago to 15 million years in the future.
Music, watching films, and just sitting down and thinking and throwing different ideas around in my head.
Eating bagels. If that makes any sense.
I have a strange thought process.
I am inspired to make a brickfilm because I want to make something special...
Making something people will sit there watching and think "wow, that was wonderful"
I am also inspired to work harded because it is my goal and dream in life to become a full film maker so I can make more movie magic that I hope will inspire others to make films just like I did....
I think that sums it up in short form.
Simply having the inspiration from watching amazing work done by others and then it hits me ''I want to be like them'' they love what they do, they are dedicated to their work, their amazing at it, and they have all the fans they need to be able to continue their true passion in doing what they love while entertaining thousands of fans, I'm learning about brick filming everyday now and i have talked to some really great inspirational people who are helping me keep on track and giving me links and articles on how to get better.
Cheers guys, keep up the good work, and NEVER give up.

When I'm in the car - Before sleeping - Music.
I've been inspired by Joe Brickmond, first of all.
I'm also inspired by various sit-coms, especially:
All in the family
King of The Hill
Everybody Loves Raymond
Wait Till Your Father Gets Home
Ideas come from events that occur in my life, or a funny situation I'm involved in is saved as a joke. Current events are also sources for themes in the brickfilms' stories, but I try to connect them to a more universal theme or larger picture. And doing menial work often gives me time to clear my mind and put ideas together or think of different, less cliched ways to present them.
This, mostly.
