Topic: Best city set for animating

I am thinking of getting fun in the park , is it worth it and what are other city sets (new or retired) should I use to make a little city scene.

My favorite city type set (that I do not have) is:
The 2007 or 8 town plan

I am supposed to put something here.

Fun in the Park is basically a minifig pack. It looks worth it to me, if you have the cash. Lots of cool figs.

As for a city, I think it's best to build from scratch. Official LEGO sets aren't made for animating on, and you can get basic bricks much cheaper on Bricklink and build your own buildings. That's my take on it anyway.

If you have a Lego store near you, sometimes their Pick a Brick wall can be a great way to get basic and specialized bricks that could work for making you own city building.
Just an idea anyway. mini/smile
