Re: LEGO Rebrick Contests

I'd assume that you shouldn't use parts of easily recognizable minifigures from 3rd party themes, such as Tony Stark's. You might be able to use parts such as the heads of characters that are typically covered with a beard (think Gimli from the LOTR line); you could comment on the contest page to see if you get an answer.

Also, I believe the videos won't actually be featured in the movie, unlike the LEGO Movie Contest a while back. They will be included in a special feature in the DVD release, which is still pretty cool.

Thanks for replying! I ended up featuring about four characters, three of which are liscensed LEGO DC Universe minifigs.

@MB Studios: I don't know, I think the BRAWL results speak for themselves.... mini/wink

Re: LEGO Rebrick Contests

This looks great!

I am supposed to put something here.

Re: LEGO Rebrick Contests

Hmm, I might give that a go; it's different and doesn't require me to be in the same location as my LEGO collection, which is a plus.

Re: LEGO Rebrick Contests

I'll probably be doing this one. Still need to fully figure out how to do it though..

This looks interesting, I'm curious to see how it turns out. Thanks for posting it here, Mark!

Re: LEGO Rebrick Contests

Though I'd also prefer if I could enter without having to go out and buy a new set, it's not really a scandal that official LEGO contests are designed to help sell products.

Re: LEGO Rebrick Contests

Actually, it doesn't have to be one of the newer Creator sets, you can use any 3in1 set ever released.

Of course, you do have to go and buy a set if you don't already own one... like me. But since it doesn't have to be a new set, you can always go plundering clearance aisles and eBay for older Creator sets you do like to make it more worthwhile.

Re: LEGO Rebrick Contests

Might give this a go, as I recently won a creator set in a prize draw (still need to pick up my prize though!) mini/bigsmile

Re: LEGO Rebrick Contests

The 99 Cents Only stores here in California have been featuring Lego Dimensions sets for one dollar each. Wasn't sure where to post this, but a heads up to anyone in my area, keep an eye out for this great deal!

Re: LEGO Rebrick Contests

The results for the LEGO Batman Movie ReBrick contest have been announced.  We wrote a short blog with the winners videos embedded on the BFG.  Check it out HERE! The ReBrick site is a little sluggish at times, but you can checkout out their announcement here along with comments.

I know this is not a Brickfilming contest but it is interesting.

Re: LEGO Rebrick Contests

Yes, feel free to also share the non-brickfilming ReBrick contests in this thread.

In other news, there is another brickfilming contest, and it is another Ninjago one (this time with a chance to get your film in the Ninjago movie):

Ohhhhhhhhh man, talk about grand prizes. Woweeee. This sounds like an amazing contest to enter but I seriously don't know a single thing about Ninjago nor do I have any sets by the theme. mini/no

Re: LEGO Rebrick Contests

I'm in the same boat. The prizes are absolutely bananas (and the same for all six winners!), so now I have to consider whether I want to go out and buy a bunch of Ninjago sets or not...

Re: LEGO Rebrick Contests

I may actually give this a shot. I really regret not making an entry into the contest for The LEGO Movie and I don't want to make that same mistake again. I probably will buy just a few minifigures and use them, the time restraints don't make going out and buying a full set worth it.

Re: LEGO Rebrick Contests

...and there are entries in already. They're also both Lego models, not brickfilms...people sure hate reading rules.
I might give this a shot, although I don't really have any familiarity with ninjago. Hope I can get away with the single ninja minifig I own. Also, it's strange that there would be two ninjago brickfilm contests so close together.
