Hello, and welcome to the production log of "Barry's Show"! Barry's Show is about a man named Barry who has his own show.
But things get weird when his friend Pete comes over and starts talking about some strange thing called a "Script". Here, you'll see my progress on this funny, smart short written by HoldingOurOwn.

This fun comedy was an entry to the screenwriting challenge.  It pays a bit of tribute to the recently late  Garry Shandling's Show from the 1980s, where the characters knew there was a show.  The main Character Barry's name is a tribute to Garry.

I can't wait to see what the living room/kitchen will look like.

Here's what I've got so far for the kitchen. Planning on adding some drawers to it and maybe some other stuff but wanted to show you guys before I changed anything.

Well, I'm glad to announce that SuperMelty has been casted as Barry! Progress on sets as been minimal as I'm still working on the kitchen(the walls aren't even high enough yet). Might have to change the wall color so I can make the walls tall enough but nothing is for certain yet. Pete is still open for anyone who is interested in voice acting so go check out the casting calls thread for more information on that.

Your set looks good so far. If you are running out of white bricks, I had the same problem. What I did, was make a base of one color, like gray, and then do the rest white. You can see what I mean in my video "Steve's Magical April 1st". In the scene with the house, I had a base of gray bricks so I don't have to use as many white ones. Hope this helps!

I saw the blue baseplate.  Primary blue is also a great kitchen color with white.

A blue/black and white pattern is very good for kitchen floors, but just white is also good mini/smile

I haven't actually made barry or pete mini/lol that minifig was just a stand in. But, I could use it as barry, he does look quite calm like barry.

I like the editions you have made to the kitchen. A few nice little details split around the set makes it pretty nice to look at!

Are these actual frames from the film? Because, if so, I think you should adjust your white balance. The lighting looks too much on the cold white end of the spectrum!

While I'm sorry that I have to say it during the production of a film. I will not be brickfilming anymore. this was not an easy decision but I know it's the right one. As amazing and creative as this hobby is it's just not a good fit more me. I've been forcing myself to do it mostly because I feel bad if I don't. Not because I want to. I in no way think this is a bad hobby, the amount of amazing people making amazing content is incredible.  But I think there's a better way to express myself out there.

Well, whatever the future holds for you I wish you good luck! There is always light at the end of the tunnel, and I believe that one day you will find your true passion. I haven't really decided how active I will stay. I don't see any reason why I can't still hangout, just probably not as often. I may try doing some voice acting.
