The effect was smooth, good job! Just so you know, the tests are released in the WIP's and Tests forum. 
There we go, got everything moved and merged.
Yep, he's right, if it has "test" in the title, it probably belongs here.
Anyway, the effect is in interesting one, and the first person view of it allowed us to see a lot more of the texture and shape of it.
I think the biggest area for improvement is the sound. Try poking around a bit more, and you may find something that compliments the visuals a bit more appropriately.
