Man, I completely neglected to take any bts footage .
Here is a photo of the aftermath of animating "Blue or Yellow?"

Yeah me too. I wanted to but I was in a mad rush as it was.
Those Logitech webcams, great pieces of kit! Who didn't use one of those?
Judging by quality, I would guess "X" was animated with a DSLR of some sort.
I used a DSLR too.
Cool, that must make set design a whole lot more harder for positioning and stabilising such a large camera, right?
Webcams are unquestionably a lot easier to position than DSLRs. But my DSLR is actually very light and I have a pretty flexible tripod. Set design is tricky though, because I have to account for a little extra space on the top and/or bottom because my camera shoots at 3:2 so to make it 16:9 I have to crop 405 pixels off the top and/or bottom, so that's a little bit of a hassle. My capture software has a feature to add some letterboxes, but they're not exact. But I find it all worth it because the image quality is much better.
Oh, I didn't even consider the different aspect ratio! Yeah, I don't imagine I'll be switching over to DSLR in the foreseeable future, but fair play for undergoing the extra effort for higher quality images.
