My entry to BRAWL 2018. This film is based on the story of how I came up the idea for this film.

Very well made! The script is great too!
This film is beautiful.
It only contains a few different camera angles, but the framing, lighting, set design, and integration of the text make for a very pretty package on one of the more serious BRAWL entries.
While at first the film seems to fill the obligatory "make a story about my struggle to come up with a story" spot, sticking around for the whole thing reveals that it is a far more respectful and solemn take on the theme. Also, props for looking into the biblical use of the word. To my shame, that's not something I would have thought of, and I'm thrilled that somebody did.
Your attention to detail is fantastic. While watching, I nearly forgot I was watching a Lego brickfilm, and instead, could easily see it a live-action film. Little details like the sniff at 1:17, and changing shirts on the otherwise identical shots of the beginning and the end mark this as the product of a lot of thought.
I'm impressed.
