Topic: Light Flicker

I have been setting everything on my camera to manual. The white balance, shutter speed, aperture and focus, but I'm still getting a lot of light flicker. Why? mini/rolleyes

Re: Light Flicker

Are their any reflective bricks that your using?

Re: Light Flicker

Yeah. Most of the time, I get flicker when I have white walls or windows. I normally try to avoid those, but white is a pretty common color for a building, and they've gotta have windows. mini/XD

Re: Light Flicker

Try to move your desk lamps further away from the set, it help a lot from me. Try it. Like 30 cm really... at least!

I tried that, but it just gave off an annoying orange tint. mini/smile

it does that to me to

Re: Light Flicker

The baking paper I put over my lamps doesn't give it an orange tint. Try lowering your white balance.

Re: Light Flicker

I've never heard of putting baking paper over it, I just use ordinary paper. I'll have to give that a try sometime.

Back after taking a very long break. I'm going to be making more films and hopefully going to be gradually getting better. Comeback time.

Re: Light Flicker

I tried lowering and brightening my white balance. I still got the tint. BTW what kind of lamps do you people use? mini/blankexpression

Re: Light Flicker

I use regular desk lamps.

I think you should use full-spectrum/natural day lightbulbs. Regular bulbs gives the light a yellow tint.

Re: Light Flicker

What camera do you use? If it's a webcam it may have autofocus, and that can cause light flicker.

Re: Light Flicker

I use a Samsung HZ30W. mini/bigsmile
