alright, well did anyone see Video copilot's new video?  I had no idea stuff like that could be done in after effects.

Well I downloaded the free trial of After Effects. At first glance, it's quite confusing, but after a while it seemed okay. So I'm thinking of saving my money for it. (Is student discount eligible for use on home computer?!? I don't know. When I select student discount, it says computers owned by school. The thing is I've seen people on youtube have the program (not pirated) on their home computer... I'm quite confused about that part).

Anyways, the main reason I thought I'd try it was to create mouth animations. I wasn't sure about attempting an 0ldscratch style animation, or NickDurron style. Heck, maybe after fooling around, I'll come up with my own style! Oh well. I still have much to learn before I even attempt the lip syncing.

I got mine with a student discount, $460 for the production premium.  All i had to do was show my student card and latest report card. Look here
