Topic: What is the best time of the year to film?

I just would like to know, but what is the best time of the year toy film?  And I mean with the free time, amount of sun light in the day.  This is just a thought that I had and it would be nice to know.

Re: What is the best time of the year to film?

Either summer or winter, specifically Late July through Late August, or Winter Break. After school is okay also for winter.

you could just fly to the moon, not only is it always the same temperature (in you're space ship) but you'd get international popularity, plus you could spread the love of brickfilms to the native aliens of the moon  (but not the kangaroo people from  mars that will visit you, they hate legos)

Yeah, when I was in elementary school one of my friends used dynamite to blow up another kid. He thought it would be funny, just like in Looney Toons, but it was really tragic and messed up his life forever. People need to be way more careful about the cartoons they show to kids. -Jargon

Easter is great, IMO. Hope Hazzat and the lot host a competition around that time again.

I spent my entire day in the kitchen, which legally constitutes me as a woman. - Kcirbfilms

Re: What is the best time of the year to film?

Summer, because you have tons of free time.  Actually, you can animate any time of the year when you have a half hour or more to spare.

What does sunlight have to do with it?  You're not using sunlight as your light source, are you?
If you are, then use lamps instead.  Sunlight isn't constant, the sun itself moves and clouds pass by it.  You'll get light flicker that way.

I think he means less sunlight.

Well, if he's not using sunlight, then how much sunlight there is wouldn't matter.

Sun light as in light flicker.  And I use lamps to light my set.

Re: What is the best time of the year to film?

I think it's winter. Dark and cold so good for filming, 'cause outside is cold and inside is warm and you can then film. mini/bigsmile

Ah.

I'm guessing your blinds/shades over your windows don't block out all of the light.  If that's the case, then put some trash bags or really thick black cloth over your windows.

Re: What is the best time of the year to film?

Never animate in the Summer.

Re: What is the best time of the year to film?

The funny thing is even though in Summer I have most free time I usually produce least brickfilms mini/lol I just like to chill and hang out with friends. Winter is the best for me because I hate cold weather and I usually sit at home during that cold time mini/smile

I agree.. mainly in the summer I hang out outside after work time.

Re: What is the best time of the year to film?

The best time to animate is today. It's always today.

Just my input, but I'm not sure if this topic is very useful.

PS: winter.
