I looked into shipping samples internationally today and it turns out we'll currently be unable to ship outside the US at all. However the figures should be available to buy in Canada in some select locations (Toronto Stadium for instance)
Some people don't live in toronto though.

Unfortunately we are restricted by our licensing from distributing product outside the United States, so sadly there's nothing I can do about that. Toronoto happens to be where the Blue Jays stadium is, and they do stock our product there.
I'm looking into seeing if we can create a generic OYO figure for you all that won't be subject to these regulations so you can get a figure! I will update you with the status as it goes.
For right now, anyone who is interested and is international, please leave me an email at [email protected]
If/when a generic figure becomes available, I will be sure to send them to you
Thanks for bearing with us through this!
Sent my form and I chose Hisashi Iwakuma!
Sent out the second round of figures yesterday!
I would be really interested in trying one of the figs, but I live in Italy and anyway I have summer already occupied with shooting other films. I guess I'll just have to wait (I'm good at doing that).
Yes! Got my free OYO in the mail today! Now time to animate!
Great, I received the OYO! I'll start animation after finals tomorrow.
So are we supposed to make a commercial, or a video with a plot and such?
So it doesn't have to have a plot?
Also, could you post a plain OYO logo for me to use?
I was thinking of doing that, and I might use the edited version, but the corners aren't the most not-sloppiest, if you get what I mean.
You could easily remove the background on this one:
Yes
but the corners aren't the most not-sloppiest
(This makes no sense because Zach edited his post.)
Glad to see some discussion going on here!
I'll point back to this nugget: "We would like to see a video that will highlight and showcase the features of OYOs. This could be done in many ways, either directly through plot elements within the film, or secondary to the plot. And remember, OYOs play well with other toys!"
I don't want anyone to think it needs to be like an advertisement. IMO really any stop-motion video of an OYO is going to highlight its features to some degree! The extent to which you want to focus on this is up to you, "highlighting and showcasing the features" could be secondary to a plot, or it could be the main focus of the film.
I would discourage anyone from using our logo in the video Unless you have a plan that makes it somehow essential to the idea of the video, in which case you can e-mail me at [email protected] to discuss (just so we don't exclude anyone)
Need to get back to work... more OYOs to ship out!
Got my OYO today! It's great quality!
