Topic: Goodbye (For Now)
Well, the time has come.
If you aren't previously aware of this fact, I am LDS, or a Mormon, and I have hit the age where I can serve a mission for my church: doing service, sharing my beliefs with others and inviting them to be baptized into the church. This mission lasts for two years. I will have extremely limited access to the internet for the entire duration; I will only be able to send weekly e-mails to my family. This means no BricksInMotion.
I'm serving this mission because I want to. I know it'll be a great experience, and I'll learn many things and meet many great people, but that I'll also be able to share with others something that has been a great blessing in my life — something that will be able to bless their lives as well.
I enter the Missionary Training Center on August 8'th, and will enter my mission two weeks later. I should return in mid-August 2014.
I have had a blast being part of this community and brickfilming for the last seven years. I've come to know many awesome people, and have loved seeing what other stories or jokes you have to tell, or what cool things people have been able to with LEGO. Brickfilming has helped me realize what I want to become in later years, and work towards that goal; to become an animator, possibly a director, but always a storyteller.
Thanks for the great time, guys. I'll see you in 2014.
