Re: Midnight Detective
Have you written any motive for the antagonist's animosity towards the protagonist? Else it just seems like he's picking on the protagonist for no reason.

Well sometimes motivates are ignored look at "Les Miserables" Javert's only motive to catch Jean Valjean is that the man must obey the law, I mean the guy stole some bread, yet Javert shows no mercy only to prove how Law is important, that's pretty damn stupid IMO. Makes the character look quite one-dimensional (like Robocop or somethin').
While I see your point, in the confines of this film it would not be wise. The example you provide, although good, still has a clear motive, Valjean stole a loaf of bread, in the eyes of Jarvet, the law must be upheld, an the ruthless an unnecessary measures are probably down to the short coming of his character conjoined with a hint of megalomania. Unless the antagonist in ‘Midnight Detective’ is written like a character similar to ‘The Joker’ or ‘Alex DeLarge’, who are clear cut anarchists, a motive is defiantly necessary.
I was about write a huge, long paragraph, but then had a thought.
Since I feel like doing some pre-production work, would you mind getting an assistant writer?
the script is sorta done. but, um.... maybe you could read over it, give me a fresh POV. yeah, ok. send us a PM...
I'm thinking of doing a sorta trailer explainer, making some extra footage and setting the story for it.
the main motive for the Antagonist is that he wants to show the world that the hero is no better then the police.
Bump, ish....
along with a droid walk test is a test for this, what do you people think?

Realm of the Unreel, your Avatar is hilarious!
Your sets for Midnight Detective are intense! That will take a lot of Lego bricks to make! I also love the longer atories that use original characters and settings, so I'll be looking forward to seeing this.
I am looking forward to this film. The sets look great, I love the CGI.
yeah, well, I have a problem that the main CGI model is to big, so I'm gonna have to can that and build it outa bricks...
does anyone know any good ideas for creating water(in a sewer...)?
update.
here's a test:

Did you see Sméagol's Unrenewable? There were some pretty good sewers in there so maybe you wanna ask him.
I like this idea. Reminds me of Midnight Crew (not really)
And judging from that test you posted it's gonna be good.
Good luck!!
yeah i did thanks topit. yeah, Im really loving the script.
