I claimed a scene (a relatively easy one, since I am busy with school work at the moment, but in a week I'll be done with that, so I can make this)!
Do not include 3rd party brands or content. We all love [insert product here], but we don't want to get sued over it.

I don't think so; in the FAQ they said it was alright to use action figures.
This looks awesome, I might try to get a scene done. Thankfully each scene is 15 seconds long, so it won't be too strenuous.
I claimed a scene, maybe I'll find time this weekend to do it.
I was wondering, is the entire 15 second scene shown (sped up) when you hover over the picture, or is that just a sped-up snippet of the scene?
I sadly don't have the correct minifigs for any of the scenes left, oh well, maybe I'll do the next one.

It is the entire scene, just sped up. Though there maybe some parts of the scene that you can't see in the sped up version because they are so short. My scene involves Vader speaking to his commanders, and then it briefly switches to Hoth for Luke to give a short line. The part with Luke was so short, you can't see it in the sped up version.
You will get a video at normal speed of the scene once you claim it.

I actually watched the first one they made (on youtube here) so I can confirm that yes they do allow use of legos. But the lego animation in that one is very terrible so it will be good to get some better brickfilmers into this project
Also, there are only 15 scenes left, so hurry up and choose something.
Awesome guys!! Make this the best animations yet, since hundreds of thousands of people will see this! also, i hope BIM isn't clogging the submissions. It is only 15 second claims of clips, though...
In the middle of my scene.
The film has been finished and uploaded to YouTube, which is impressively fast! My clip has not been selected, but I'm still really happy that the Star Wars fan community is as creative and as powerful to create something like this. The editing is very smooth as well, surprisingly tying all the clips together well. I'm eager to know if any of your guys' clips have been selected.
