This is in the releases forum for now, on account of the folks in chat egged me on to abuse my admin power so more of you would see what I've been working on.

This looks really interesting, but I have to say the thing that grabbed me most about the trailer was the stunning cinematography, seriously it's downright fantastic.
I'll look forward to seeing this.
Wow, this looks great. The trailer barely tells us what the plot is about, but that makes it highly intriguing. The cinematography and general style is really nice, too. I like the "retro technology" feel to it too. Excellent work!
When will this be released, and will it be available online?

This trailer is absolutely stunning! The chosen scenes make one very curious and eager for the film to come out, and the music fit the moods of each scene perfectly.

Even from the trailer, I can see this has a tremendous sense of visual style. The visual aesthetics and cinematography make for interesting viewing, and I hope I will come to see the final film at some point!
Thanks everyone. I definitely am pleased with the cinematography, I worked very closely with the DP and I think we achieved the look we wanted for the film. We were lucky to be able to shoot on a Canon C300, which is a pretty high end cinema camera, the likes of which I have not gotten to work with before.
I'm composing the music for the film, some of which is in the trailer, though the trailer also uses excerpts from Chopin's "Raindrop" prelude.
Technically, there is no rule against non-brickfilms in this forum. It's just that you can only submit brickfilms to the directory, and normal people can't post threads in this forum. That said, yeah I'd totally move the thread if a mod posted here. I was just posting it here for the weekend to make sure it didn't get buried, haha

This looks super! I liked the references to the Caspar David Friedrich (i think???) painting and then the Cortazar/Borges references because those dudes are like gr8 authors i can't wait for this thing to happen omfg
