It was an okay show, Me and my sister watched it, mostly just to make fun of it, but still, it was goodish.

Re: Top Seasons/Series from the past decade?

In the past decade:

#1 has got to be 24!  Even though that began over a decade ago.

Also, in no particular order:
The Goldbergs
The Middle
The Neighbors (kinda grows on you)
No Ordinary Family (Who knows why they took this off after 1 season?)
Who Wants to Be a Superhero?
Half Hour News Hour
Big Bang Theory
Last Man Standing
Sym-Bionic Titan
Mad Men
Glenn Beck Program
Adventure Time
Thank God You're Here
Yes, Dear
Transformers: Animated (the best TF series, next to the original series)

Also, someone mentioned Battlestar: Galactica.  That's from the 1970s, as you can't be referring to the Sci-Fi version.  I watched the pilot and never turned back!

I might have missed a bunch, but that's what happens when you're born in the mid-90s

Sorry guys for I had not noticed your comments, firstly and foremost FlyingMinifig and Squid I understand exactly what you guy's are pointing out and no flyingminifig I cannot categorically prove it would be impossible for a girl to fight a werewolf as squid pointed out however I had said it would be unrealistic not impossible but I do agree that I was being sexist and for this I will avoid this in future posts and would like to apologize to whoever I may have offended this was clearly for my point of view and more for what I was after than trying to prove a point against genders which was not my intention.

I think I may have been a bit harsh, so sorry if I was.  I do understand to a certain extent what you're saying, but you can't say that all women are weaker than all men because that simply isn't true--some women are stronger than men, and some men are stronger than women.  There's a wide variety between gender and physical strength in the real world (as there are with many other things), and any good work of fiction should reflect that.  Neglecting potential female characters just because they're supposedly "weaker" closes off a lot of opportunity and variety in a film and it will most likely suffer as a result, even if it isn't overtly sexist.  At the same time, over-emphasising gender and having characters say "look how strong I am because I'm female!" doesn't work either and just hamstrings the film, makes it extremely unsubtle, and ruins it.  I suppose it's a tad hypocritical for me to say this, since I've never actually made a film with a female protagonist (this is mainly from what I've observed from other works of fiction) but I hope to rectify that situation one day.

however guys I am trying to avoid cartoon series and shows were possible (even tho my little pony is EPIC) mini/lol

Just a thought here: while I can understand what you mean, I don't think you should actively avoid cartoons just because they are cartoons.  The medium is nowhere near as important as the story itself.  If the story is strong on its own, the medium does not matter.  (Of course, different stories are best suited to certain mediums, but that's another discussion...)

Also, small tip:  Try to use a bit better grammar--make shorter sentences and don't use run-on sentences (ones that are extremely long with loads of commas).  That way, it's a lot easier to read and everyone will be able to understand what you're saying better.

I'd be curious to know how that came about.  She must have been very angry at you to punch you like that, especially since you apologised...

Also, I wasn't aware until recently that Death Note was a TV show, I thought it was just a Manga book series.  I did read the first few parts in the library and it was amazingly good, but at the moment I'm waiting until the summer to start reading (since I'll have a lot more time then).

Re: Top Seasons/Series from the past decade?

I think it perpetuates and propagates unflattering stereotypes about Bible Belt Christians. It's exploitative. A freak show.

And it's in the very fake and stagey category of reality TV. It's one of those shows where you can feel yourself getting dumber as you watch.

I enjoy the show and thought I'd give my pick. mini/smile and I respect your option.

Sorry, I don't mean to be that guy who criticizes peoples' taste in media all the time. It's not very classy.

In fairness, I probably only reserve such judgment for Duck Dynasty and The Big Bang Theory.

Re: Top Seasons/Series from the past decade?

The Thick of It is not only the best TV comedy from the past decade, but is one of the best comedies of all time.

Its also incredibly NSFW. I mean incredibly. It doesn't contain violence, drugs, or even adult themes - but the language is absolutely foul. Golden. Expertly written. Crafted to perfection. But foul. That '18' rating (the UK equivalent of a strong 'R') is there for a reason.

You know Peter Capaldi? The next Doctor? You know those YouTube clips of him playing that foul-mouthed guy in the suit? This is the show where that all comes from. And yes - Peter Capaldi's character is the best character in the show.

If your vaguely aware of how UK politics works (you don't have to be an expert. Just know that since Churchill there hasn't been a single likeable English politician) and your able to appreciate that swearing, when used correctly, can be hilarious - then watch it and enjoy the wittiest UK sitcom since Blackadder.

Re: Top Seasons/Series from the past decade?

All in my opinion, in any order:

Breaking Bad, C.S.I., N.C.I.S., The Walking Dead, The Big Bang Theory (Sorry Sméagol), The Middle, The Regular Show, The Loony Toons Show, Malcolm in the Middle, Scandal, 30 Rock, The Office (God I miss this show), Weeds, Mad Men, Spongebob Squarepants, The Blacklist, Revolution, The Boondocks, and Drake and Josh (Mostly for nostalgia, though it was pretty well written for a Dan Schneider sitcom). An honorable mention is Freaks and Geeks, which is a 14 year old show and just missed the cut.
