The problems were with people submitting to the wrong email address, or not providing usernames, etc.
Which I just did both of....
please kill me now.
I'm a bit confused but I sent in a link with my usename in just in case. Hope everything is ok.
I sent mine last night, but I think I sent it to the wrong address. I think the problem was that you didn't give an address in the original email you sent out, which led some people (including me) to send the link as a reply to your email.
Either way, I resent it shortly afterwards to the correct address. Let me know if you got it!
Yup, that was me. I had to send my entry at least seven times before I finally got it right. Vimeo's privacy settings are extremely out of whack. If submission rules ever come up again, telling me to do it in that style, I'll just have to do what I did for Celebration: upload to YouTube.
So confused, Do I send it again but have the quality on high? Can't you do that on youtube when you record it?
I will try to get you my HD version within the ext couple days

please upload a file to a site such as copy.com or wetransfer.com that we can download -- this could be simply the file you uploaded to YouTube originally.
We cannot use the YouTube video itself, because YouTube adds a lot of video compression to all videos uploaded there, damaging the quality.
Now that the contest is through, you can easily use a Vimeo file for the DVD, right? Or does Vimeo jack up the quality just as bad as YouTube does?
Vimeo has the same problem to a marginally lesser extent. We want these movies to look the best they can for the Blu-ray! I was about to say that you can enable downloading and then we can download the original HQ file you uploaded, but that actually requires a premium account. So please upload a file to a file hosting site like wetransfer.com, copy.com, or dropbox.
Hi, just sent mine, let me know if the file format works (it should be fine, but it's in 4k, so could possibly have playback issues).
OK, Smeagol. I will see if I can get a file sent to you soon.
I can do that, but would uploading it to my blog work? Scared of a virus attacking my laptop.
Any downloadable link will work. It cannot be a streaming site. Dropbox, Copy.com, and WeTransfer are all virus-free.
Got it!
Oh, nice, I just realized I will be able to make the results chat! I was thinking I'd be busy with swim stuff, but that starts two hours later. Coolio.
Results chats are always really fun.
