Topic: Great brickfilms of this decade (so far)

So I was absent from the community for a while and I'm sure I've missed some fantastic films. I've decided to start this thread so we can highlight the best work from 2010 to 2014 and I can try to catch up (but particularly the ones from before 2014 as there will likely be a Best of 2014 thread at some point). Obviously they don't need to be 10/10 all-time classic quality as in most cases it would be too early to tell anyway, but hopefully we can get some discussion on great recent brickfilms going (assuming it hasn't all been boring IP based stuff while I was away... right?).

Anyway, some of the films that even I haven't missed include:

Henri & Edmond: Droits d'Auteur by Maxime Marion (2011)
Major Malfunction by Mister Mulluc (2012)
Egyptian Holiday by Spencer Katz (2011)

Re: Great brickfilms of this decade (so far)

This is a pretty great topic! I've only been brickfilming in the time frame you described, so here are a couple of the films that I really liked:

Design Flaw by TheDuckCow (2011)
Legend of the Samurai Ninja by Motive Cap (2013)
Quack In Time by moviefigure (2014)
The Duel by namchild (2012)
How to Not Rob a Bank by Squid

I was just about to start a similar topic. But I've been largely absent since 2005. So if anyone wants to share with me essential brickfilms of the last 9 years I'd be very grateful. Don't mean to hijack the thread.

Quack In Time by moviefigure (2014)

I second this.

Also, Hazzat's adaption of Parry Gripp's "Megaphone" song, since that's what got me into brickfilming.

And you know, the fact that Parry Gripp loved it so much he got Hazzat's adaption shown at the Santa Barbara Film Festival and flew Hazzat out to meet him (correct me if I'm wrong on that bit).

Down the Hatch by namchild

Technically, this hasn't been filmed in the last decade but has been released in 2012, so I'd say it still counts. It's a really an awesome must-watch.

Then I'd recommend:

Marooned
Leisure #3: Tennis
Ham On Set
BULB
The Lego Shootout (Western Train Chase)
Jurassic Floor

And I totally second pretty much everything that's already been mentioned. Honestly there have been many great and incredible brickfilms in this past decade, it actually is fairly hard to remember them all.

Good, but are they so good they transcend time itself by crossing into a second decade?

I suppose he was responding to this(?)

These are a few I enjoyed a lot that haven't been mentioned yet:

Odd Jobs
First Class
My Father is a Tyrannosaurus Rex
Printed Circuit

Pretty much anything by Walter Benson and Squid. And there are a lot of awesome THAC 9, THAC X, and THAC 11 entries that you missed out on over the course of the past few years (and you should definitely take a look at some of the stuff from other BiM contests, too).

Have you seen a big-chinned boy?
