Re: Bricks in Motion 2015 Census

Passenger jet 'A' took around 15 hours to fly about 4700 miles.
In November 2003, Dewfilms discovered the art of brickfilming in the pages of Wired magazine.
Dewfilms, was x years old when she started brickfilming.
Passenger jet 'B' took around 3.5 hours to fly about 1200 miles.
Then, passenger jet 'C' took around 9 hours to fly about 4350 miles.
After the final flight, she then drove for approximately 2700 miles.
It is now January 2015, and Dewfilms is y years old.
Assume temporarily that Dewfilms is not the oldest person on Bricks in Motion.
Also, approximately 90% of the members on Bricks in Motion are under the age of 40.
And if Dewfilms's actual age is one of the bottom three age tiers...

Then solve for x and y.

Same. Except I was eleven.

Yep, I'm fifteen now. And I'm just as curious as y'all to find out who here clicked on the +51 option.

Also, Dewfilms, you're 37, aren't you?

Also, I hate math.

Yeah, I'm totally just guessing on that one.

I guess womens' ages all the time.

Just for the sake of being respectful.

'Cause I'm a respectful gent.

Yeah, I'm done now.

Re: Bricks in Motion 2015 Census

The cynical side of me makes me think that some people put some of those ages as a joke, but who knows. I'm 20; I'm actually surprised how many people are in the same group as me, I thought it would skew much harder to the couple groups below.

Re: Bricks in Motion 2015 Census

Oh my god. I just realized that this May will be the 4th anniversary of when I joined the site/started Brickfilming! Wow, time flies. It's weird how big of a part this site has played in my life the past 4ish years, what with reintroducing me to a passion (filmmaking) that I hadn't thought about since the 2nd grade, and allowing me to meet cool people who I consider to be friends.

This hobby as a whole has helped me get through some tough times in my life, though I'll admit that for the first year or so it added some stress due to my inability to own up to doing it to people. But after that, it really helped boost my confidence and have the guts to get more friends in real life. Sure, I still do struggle with some anxiety in regards to keeping friends, in fact it's kind of a regular thing. But I have definitely gotten much better since I was just a little 8th grader first starting out on here.

So thank you, Bricks In Motion, for being pretty alright.

It'll be four years since I joined just before you did.  I still remember when you first come on.

My friends in the brickfilming community have become closer than the friends I know in person.

Re: Bricks in Motion 2015 Census

I joined this site 3.5 years ago. When I was 11 years old. And you need to be 13 years old.

Aww yeah, bendin' the rules since, er, I dunno.

I'm 15 years old now.

x = 26
y = 26 because being a Brickchick keeps you young, attractive, and admired by all FOREVER

By the way - is this survey only for actual brickfilmers or anyone who is a member of the site (such as perpetually young and attractive voice actresses)?

I would think that since it is a "Bricks in Motion" census, that you could do it. The topic post said nothing about just brickfilmers doing it. You're a vital part of the brickfilming community!

Maybe that's why there was a forty year old woman at my church who looked to be in her twenties.

I just had to delete 6 posts that had absolutely nothing to do with the discussion and kept building on each other for some reason. Please keep your posts on topic.
