Re: The Animation Challenge

Welcome STOPandMOTION and sebas to the animation challenge.
This is a terrific thread and the challenge is most fun when there's a lot of entries for a contest.
You would first upload your entry to YouTube and share the link in this thread. After that, you will wait until the deadline finishes and wait even more for the judge to announce the winner (as well as giving critiques and feedback to the entries). The winner will become the next host and choose the topic as well as being the judge.

Past entries can be seen in this thread and here http://www.bricksinmotion.com/forums/to … challenge/ . Yes there are two threads. I really like going back to the old thread and revisit what they did there.

If you feel that you would like more feedback for your entry, feel free to post it onto the WIPs and Tests forum or the Films forum if you think it belongs there.

The rules are not very strict here unlike THAC or BRAWL. A story is not required, being a few hours past the deadline wouldn't matter too much, there can be multiple ways of animating the topic so the entry can have more than one animation. Though, this depends on who the judge is.
Sound is usually preferred but not necessary.

Yeah, feel free to upload it wherever you want. Google Drive even works (but nobody really likes Google Drive links mini/tongue ). Just check out the topic post and the most recent challenge post, and you should be ok!

40% of animation & editing is complete, although I won't be able to resume progress until Wednesday, as I am too busy today. Hopefully I can get it done in time!

Re: The Animation Challenge

Well, I thought about adding my own sound effects, and didn't have time, but then as I was listening to Pandora and heard this song... it synched up with the video too perfectly to ignore.
Here's my entry... enjoy!
