Topic: Looking for Composer for Intro!

Hey guys, thanks for taking the time to read this!

I'm working on a LEGO Star Wars series based around a friendship between Obi Wan Kenobi and Darth Vader. It's comedy, with the episodes being completely random in story and jokes, and varying from 20 seconds to 2 minutes. If you've seen some of my other work, you'll see how random the series could be on my channel Coolbeansbebeh (AC Films).

What I am looking for, is a song to play over shots of Obi Wan and Darth Vader spending time together, in the style of a cheesy 80's sit com intro, but if possible, it would be cool to make it seem like it fits within the sci-fi genre as well. This will only be played in the first and maybe second episode, and as I am a student I can only offer credits/links and referrals for the person who creates the music, but if there's any way I can help you in return I'd love to!

The intro and music should be around 30 seconds- 1 minute, depending on the shots I take, which I will send to the composer to work with once it's done.

YOu know, I may give this a try.  I'll let you know in a few days.

My brother and I composed the theme for our own Star Wars comedy parody, but the song for ours is like a cheesy 1970s citcom!

B y the way, when you say 80s,  are you looking for somethng with lyrics, like "Silver Spoons", "Fanily Ties", or "The Facts of Life" (You take the good, you take the bad, you take them both and there you have...)  Or are you looking for somthing instrumental like A-Team, St. Elsewhere, Dallas, etc?  I think I can come up with a theme song if you guide me... and if it has lyrics, I can write something instrumental to go along with it, based on the musical theme.

It would be cool to have lyrics and something similar to Family Ties, although if we did that, I'm not sure what they would be, the lyrics could be related to Star Wars, as if Obi Wan and Vader are singing about each other though.

If it's only instrumental, as long as it has a slow, almost romantic sounding tune with that typical 80's guitar sound it could be really cool mini/tongue
It's only short, but I will send you the shots to give you a better idea when I've finished it. I'll give you an email in the next couple of weeks if you're interested, and I'll give you some more details too.

I've written some cheesy lyrics now, and have a tune in mind but we can discuss it when you're ready and the shots are done!
