Re: Ripped Away

Great sets! The front of the hotel with the Moroccan feeling architecture was a really great touch and really created that James Bond style atmosphere.

Re: Ripped Away

This is a really solid film. The story is well-told, the sets are detailed and realistic and the whole thing is generally fun to watch. I particularly like all the visual tricks you used, like the detatching arms and the brick-built foot on the brake pedal. Nice work.

The area I would like to see you improve on in the future is character animation, especially during dialogue. Characters sitting/standing perfectly still and occasionally moving their hands gets a bit tedious, and it wastes an opportunity you could use to tell us more about the characters. I'd encourage you to think like an actor - consider a character's personality and how that would cause them to move in general, and during lengthy bits of dialogue have them move around in a way that reflects how they are speaking. Even just little head turns, looks up and down and carefully-chosen hand movements can reveal the character's thought process, and bring a them to life by turning them into more than a motionless piece of plastic.
