You can't call it Doctor Who if it's not about the Doctor.

I'd say make it about your own Time Lord, as creativity and originality beat copying/imitating something else any day. Though by that logic, I'd also have to say think of something more original than a Doctor Who spinoff. And try to focus on one film instead of scripting three things; experience taught me that usually doesn't work out.

But I like the idea of regeneration, and Daleks and stuff.

But if I use The Doctor, I'll do stuff that kind of doesn't fit with the doctor.

I've decided to make one about my own timelord, (Sorry Hazzat, good advice, but I just love the phrase "Exterminate!" Lol) Now all I need is a name. In the script I'm currently writing, he's called "The Protector", but that's not that great of a name.
It was a time lord I made up back in 2005. It's a long, boring story.

So here's the thing, I've A: Lost interest, and B: have no time to animate anymore. Expect little from me in the future. WIP projects have been pretty much abandoned and my LEGO collection is boxed up. No, you can't have it. But do not fear, I may return to it one day.

But my idea was that his universe was destroyed after the time war, and the whole universe, along with everything in it was destroyed.
Except the timelord, his mortal enemy, escapes, and possibly a few daleks.

Nah, because in my series, he is a completely different timelord. The Doctor of his universe was killed when trying to steal the TARDIS. My time lord shot him in the back of the head.

OK, this series is still going. Here goes:

He is called "The Protector" Why not?
His entire universe was destroyed by a universe destrying bomb called a Nova Discharge Detonator or something fancy like that.
As his TARDIS dematerialised, the universe was just about to dissapear. Just as his universe collapsed, his TARDIS tried to lock on the the time vortex, and obviously couldn't because it was gone, and so it locked on to "ours". He crashed into The Doctors TARDIS, and then The Doctor helped him recover.

Now he travels around, like The Doctor. I would use The Doctor, but I want him to regenerate, and do things that The Doctor never would. (What was it that Doc said he never would in The Doctors Daughter?)

OK, so, I'm going to make this series for sure, but I thought of this: In the real Doctor Who, there are multiple writers. And if there are some people who seriously want to write some stories for it, let me know, and when I'm ready I'll give you all the details you'll need.
