Well, thanks, both of you.  Some of those old bricks are from my childhood, the 1970s.

The lighting is natural sunlight.  The wall logo was assembled, and then photographed in a series, removing one brick with each photograph.  I reversed the order of the photographs, so it looks like the wall is being built in animation.  The only good space I had to animate this was with natural sunlight shining through the window.  When you watch the animation, it looks even more impressive, as you see the lighting move over the time it took to shoot the disassembling animation.  I think it's a very beautiful end result, and it was totally unintended!
