Topic: Camera Panning in Blender

Okay I have looked for tutorials everywhere and none answer my question
I need to know how to incorporate camera movement on a still object in blender
For instance I want the camera to do a 360 degree rotation around this without moving the object itself.

Here is a great tutorial for it, although at first it dosen't seem like a camera movement tutorial, the pipes have a lot to do with it, as it explains later.
