By putting a white piece of paper as the background, then amping up the exposure and gain.

I've decided that I'm going to become immune to several select, non-lethal poisons, then put them in my snacks to discourage sneaky snack snatchers. -Littlebrick

Also there should be some settings on the camera that you can try.

You can get better colors without changing the settings by using colored lamps. For example, if your set looks very yellow-ish, use a lamp with a slightly blue color to balance it away.
