A sequence filmed in 2008, stopped by lack of time and motivation, since recovery and finished recently.
This scene was initially designed to appear in a longer film called Brickwars 2.

Awesome effects! The beginning in the space is great! And the fight is good. The ambience is very good too! 5 Stars!
I can´t belive that this AWESOME video only got 1 review/comment. Its unbelievable.
Its a verry cool animated lasersaw-fight. And with double-blades.
Cool! And it looks so cool when the red blade is blured, and the blue one is in fokus.
The reflections in the window is more than perfect.
the hole movie is so starwars-like.
But just one question:
Where the capes are gone?

Yes!! i love this, saw it on youtube, loved it, saw it again, loved it, and again i loved it, blah blah, blah. There isn't many good lego lightsaber fight out there, and yours was one of the few good ones. That is why i love it, a well animated, well edited lightsaber fight rarely doesn't deserve praise. But few brickfilms don't deserve criticism as well. The fight seems jumpy, fast one moment, then slow, then fast, and so on. Also, i feel that the lightsabers were a little strange, maybe some touch up editing on the blades would of helped, not sure. Finally, the fight was somewhat boring, they didn't do many moves, more the same thing over and over again. It was very good. The opening space battle was amazing. The music and sound effects fit perfectly. But the fight itself needs a little help.
The effects really stood out on this one. The animation wasn't great, but good enough to look like a real lightsaber duel.
The blink was done beautifully.

I did love the first shot of this movie, the effects were very well done! The lightsaber duel...not so much. The animation was decent, but more choppy than a cutting board in places, and the lightsabers weren't all that well done. The set was simple yet effective, good lighting. The duel itself was another problem. I felt the frame rate was simply too slow for the animation or something...it just didn't look smooth. Also, I didn't see many "clash" flashes, which is kinda another problem considering you hear them clash more than you SEE then clash.
In places the fight got better, with quick movements of the lightsabers, and the back-flips were neat. The ending was a bit sudden, and the two people you chose to have this duel seemed a bit out of place. But all-in-all, not a bad short, well worth anyones time. Oh, I almost forgot to point out that I really enjoyed the camera movements, they added a lot to the fight.

Fantastic camera work! The tracking, panning, and dolly shots were great. Good animation and effects also, a definite thumbs up from me!

Well, your remarks are really interesting, it should be specified that animation was made in 2008.
That is not an excuse, for the other things I think like you, you are right.
