Topic: Greed

Yes, I know that someone else (Infurno?) is working on a movie of the same title.

This is essentially a test of cinematography, animation and pacing. But you know I don't approve of tests.

I also filmed it before I filmed Girlfriend Trouble, but I wanted to upload it with awesome quality and couldn't figure out how.

Re: Greed

That was pretty good. I like the lighting and the cinematography a lot. One tiny problem though, at the shot at 0:41 you could see some blue-tac holding one of the golden bricks.

My old YouTube is since long ago defunct - now even removed.
Here is my new one.

Re: Greed

yay. That's  nice.

Re: Greed

I like the cinematography of the film. I remember you showing me a frame of the film a long time ago on skype. Nice work.

Re: Greed

The atmosphere in this movie is great. The black gave it a good feeling. The lightning and animation were good too. The only bad point is the sound design. In a dark movie, you can't just use cartoony findsound.org soundeffects!
Anyway: You did a nice job and I think you're still improving.

Re: Greed

Quite nice. When I saw the guy pick up the crystal thing I was afraid it was going to be another Omnomnom type film.

Re: Greed

Again, nice use of your lamp fade-to-nothingness technique.  My only qualm was that the video seemed a bit squished.  All in all, quite nice, as Stevie put it.

Re: Greed

Your churning out a lot of films lately, eh? Nice film, cinematography was good. I liked how you conveyed the greed into it too. Nice work.

Re: Greed

The lighting was quite nice. You created a really interesting atmosphere. I do think some of the shots could have been better, though. Also, when the guy trips (that's what happens, right?), you don't really convey it well. I'd have him running, then a close-up of his feet slipping, then a shot from below of him flying out, and then a shot of him landing on the ground.

Yes, it is. I agree, it isn't well conveyed and I realized that shortly after I animated it. At the time, I couldn't work out a better way.

With the HD, I could see the sweat rolling off of his face, even the hairs on his hand.

I am really jealous of your golden bricks. Nice film.
